1. Statutory Right to Maternity Benefit (Section 5)-
Every woman employee who has worked for at least 80 days in the preceding 12 months is entitled to maternity benefits.
→Paid at average daily wages
→26 weeks for first two children
→12 weeks for third child onwards
→12 weeks for adoptive and commissioning mothers
